About
Aileen is a 22-year-old who has lived in the west for more than three quarters of her life. She lives with her parents, brother, sister and a naughty finger-biting hamster in an apartment by a golf course. She shares her room with her younger sister who, despite being six years younger, is strangely taller than she.
Tan is also known as “the weird one” by her close friends. She frequently breaks into laughter at her own lame jokes. Tan loves reading fiction and her favourite authors are Diana Peterfreund, Casey Daniels and Charlaine Harris. She is also addicted to watching Korean dramas on her laptop in recent years.
Apart from having a queer sense of humor, Tan is a self-proclaimed “miracle child”. Coming from an average family and plagued with a history of average school grades throughout her adolescence, she has never expected herself to be admitted into her dream tertiary faculty: Media and Communication in the Singapore Polytechnic.
Today, she is a second-year Communication and New Media undergraduate at the National University of Singapore. Tan’s next goals in life are to maintain her cumulative average point and reduce the time spent on watching Korean dramas.
